Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RizLearn platform at https://rizlearn.com. By signing up or using RizLearn, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

RizLearn provides a cloud-based school management platform including attendance, fee management, assignments, report cards, video classes, messaging and multi-campus admin. The service is provided on a subscription basis.

2. Eligibility

RizLearn is designed for educational institutions. By using the platform, you represent that you are authorised to enter into agreements on behalf of your school or institution.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Monthly plans: $100/school/month, billed monthly. Cancel anytime.
  • Annual plans: $960/school/year (20% discount). Non-refundable after the 14-day free trial period.
  • Onboarding fee: $200 one-time (waived on annual plans).
  • Branded app setup: $500 one-time, plus standard subscription.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems.
  • Upload malicious code, spam or content that violates applicable laws.
  • Resell or sublicence the platform without written consent.

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Schools are responsible for obtaining necessary consents from students, parents and staff before uploading personal data to RizLearn.

6. FERPA Compliance

RizLearn agrees to comply with FERPA requirements applicable to school officials. Schools remain responsible for ensuring their own FERPA compliance. A Data Processing Agreement is available upon request.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform code, design and content are owned by RizLearn Technologies. Schools retain ownership of all data they upload. Upon termination, data export is available for 30 days.

8. Uptime & Support

We target 99.5% monthly uptime. Support is available via email (Mon–Fri) at hello@rizlearn.com. Annual plan subscribers receive priority support.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RizLearn shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Monthly subscribers may cancel with immediate effect. Annual subscribers may cancel but fees are non-refundable after the 14-day trial. We reserve the right to suspend accounts for violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales for UK customers, and the laws of the State of Delaware for US customers, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
